Murdered migrants

In the context of developments in Yemen, the coalition announced on Friday morning the killing of dozens of migrants in the clashes launched by the Huthis in the Yemeni government of Saada, adjacent to the Saudi border.

The coalition claimed that dozens of (African) migrants had been killed in a forced displacement and armed clashes launched by Hutis in the border area of Raqo (north).

He added that what he described as the brutal Houthi operation came after disputes and the burning of migrant homes.

And he added: “The killing of migrants by slavery is a repeat of the houthi burning of hundreds of African migrants (without specifying their nationalities) in a Sanaa detention center” in March 2021.

The coalition called on the United Nations and other organizations to take responsibility for exposing the brutal rape of Huthi against migrants, and noted that allegations of deaths by Houthis in the Raqo border area by Saudi forces are false.

Yemen has been witnessing for more than 7 years a continuing war between pro-government forces backed by a military coalition led by neighboring Saudi Arabia, and the Houthis, who control several governments, including the capital, Sanaa, since September 2014.

By the end of 2021, the war in Yemen had killed 377,000 people directly and indirectly, according to the United Nations.
