The EMU Music Teaching Program organized an end-of-year event: BRTK

The Faculty of Education of the University of the Eastern Mediterranean (EMU), the Department of Fine Arts Education, the Music Teaching Program organized a traditional end-of-year event.

According to information provided by EMU, the works that the students have been working on throughout the course were presented at the event held at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center.

The students dedicated the end-of-year ceremony to the memory of Aleksandr Zabolotkov, professor of the Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, who recently passed away. The event began with the reading of Alexander Zabolotkov’s biography and a video projection collected from his memories with his students.

EMU Faculty of Education, Head of the Department of Fine Arts Education Prof. S. Çetin Aydar, Dean of the Faculty of Education of the EMU Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan and the Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs of the EMU Prof. Dr. Deniz Iscioglu gave a speech.

After the inaugural parliaments, the students presented their performances throughout the year. Afterwards, the Choir of the EMU Music Education Program took the stage. While Erkan Dağlı was the choir director, Masis Aram Gözbek participated in the event as a guest conductor. The choir pianists were Maka Rotheri and Aliona Monastery. At the end of the event, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iscioglu presented flowers to choir directors, pianists and instructors.
